The top-selling drug in the US is not Viagra. It’s not Ambien. It’s not Prozac. No, it’s Abilify, an anti-psychotic used primarily to treat bipolar disorder and secondarily to treat depression.
The prescription medication boasts sales figures of 6.9 billion dollars a year. From April 2013 through March 2014, Abilify sold $6,885,243,368, more than all anti-depressants combined according to the Daily Beast.
Who among us is on Abilify? What are your experiences? I threw up within 20 minutes of taking it. It’s not for me. Is it the miracle drug its proponents claim it to be? Leave your comment below.
