I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Boycott Kanye.
The MAGA-hat-wearing rapper, who was booed during a recent pro-Trump Saturday Night Live appearance, announced he was bipolar just four months ago. Now he’s saying he was misdiagnosed, appearing in the Oval Office in a bizarre meeting with President Trump. It was a planned lunch meeting, but the White House surely didn’t get what they expected.
Ranting rapid-fire for nearly ten minutes without interruption from the president, West dropped F-bombs on live TV and praised Trump for giving him a proverbial “Superman cape.” At one point he called himself a “crazy motherfucker.”
“I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, I was connected with a neuropsychologist that works with the athletes in the NBA and NFL. He looked at my brain,” West said in the Oval Office, adding that he has scored in the 98thpercentile on an IQ test. He said the doctor believed West was misdiagnosed. “I wasn’t actually bipolar, I had sleep deprivation,” West explained.
This comes after West dropped a seven-song album titled Ye this past summer, the cover of which is scrawled with the message “I Hate Being Bi-polar [sic]. It’s awesome.”
While there was some coherence to the White House diatribe — he talked of prison reform, violence in “Chiraq,” and ending stop-and-frisk — the tone of his rant was verbose and decidedly bonkers.
“I don’t answer questions in simple soundbites,” West told the media. “You are tasting a fine wine. It has multiple notes to it.”
West also suggested Trump replace Air Force One with a hydrogen-powered airplane he said he is developing with Apple, the “iPlane.”
Trump listened intently during West’s rant, eventually calling him a “smart cookie.”
“I tell you what, that was pretty impressive,” Trump said after West ended his monologue. “That was quite something.”
“It was from the soul,” West replied. “I just channeled it.”
Maybe it was the dragon energy.

He talks to much. Boring.
